Today’s flourescent lights are not only cheaper (lasting 5 to 10 times longer than incandescent lights) but are a more efficient use of energy. They are brighter and no longer cast that grey depressing light. Compact fluorescent bulbs need to be recycled so just remember to read the instructions on how and where.
